The FCC-2 is the second part of a DDS VFO, frequency counter and keyer project being designed by Bob Okas W3CD and kitted by the Northern California QRP Club. I was one of the people chosen, ok I did a lot of begging and they got tied of hearing me whine, to build the FCC-1 frequency counter and now the DDS VFO.

The bare board is shown to the right. All of the components are SMD.

This has been a fun project to build and because the manual is so complete it went together without errors. I plan to use this VFO in my next QRP transceiver. I'm hoping to start on NB6M's Nuts and Bolts multiband rig in the very near future or maybe I'll try it out in the MultiPig Plus or.......
